Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded Can substitute with chicken or ham.
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the dough
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough Can substitute with puff pastry.
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash) For achieving a golden-brown finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. On a large baking sheet, unroll the crescent roll dough, placing it in a circular formation with the points extending outward.
Assembly
  1. Spoon the turkey and cranberry mixture onto the wide ends of the dough triangles, leaving space around the center.
  2. Fold the triangle points over the filling and tuck them under the ring to create a circle.
  3. Brush the crescent ring with the beaten egg for a golden glaze.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

Customize the filling by adding more vegetables or using different meats. Pairs well with a salad or warm soup.
