Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Gently fold in the fresh seafood and cook until just opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Optionally add a splash of white wine and let it cook off for about a minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Stir in half of the grated cheese until melted and combined.
- Transfer the seafood mixture into a baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with a side salad or crusty bread.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently in the oven.
