- In a large bowl, give your shrimp and mussels a quick rinse.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and wait until the aroma fills your kitchen.
- If using white wine, pour it in and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and mussels into the skillet and stir to coat in the garlic butter.
- Cover the skillet and let them steam for 5-7 minutes or until the mussels open and the shrimp turn pink.
- Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Stir well.
- Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
If your sauce looks lumpy, just give it a good stir! For a healthier option, toss in some spinach during the last few minutes of cooking.
