Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, mayonnaise, cream cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place bread slices butter-side down on a baking sheet and pile the shrimp and crab mixture on the unbuttered sides.
- Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and bread edges are golden brown.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes, slice into quarters, and serve warm.
Notes
Storage: If leftovers exist, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days and reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
