Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
For the Creamy Cilantro-Lime Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by tossing your peeled and deveined shrimp in a bowl with olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking Shrimp
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, lime juice, honey (if you want a touch of sweetness), cilantro, and salt.
Warming Tortillas
  1. In a dry skillet or directly over a flame, warm your corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable and fragrant.
Assembling the Tacos
  1. Load up each tortilla with shrimp, diced avocado, a sprinkle of feta cheese, and an indulgent drizzle of your cilantro-lime sauce.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.

Notes

Customize by swapping shrimp for grilled chicken or sautéed veggies, and keep sauce leftovers separate to maintain freshness. You can prepare the sauce up to 2 days in advance.
