Ingredients
  

For the Wonton Cones
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon cooking spray or oil for brushing Use for brushing the wonton wrappers
For the Shrimp Filling
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take each wonton wrapper and lightly brush both sides with a bit of cooking spray or oil.
  2. Gently place the wrapped wontons into muffin tins to shape them into cones.
Making the Filling
  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Filling the Cones
  1. Spoon the shrimp mixture into each wonton cone.
Baking
  1. Pop the muffin tin into the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden and crispy and the shrimp is cooked through.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Don’t Overstuff! Keep the filling from spilling over. Experiment with flavors by adding veggies like diced bell peppers or carrots for extra crunch. A sweet chili sauce or soy sauce with a splash of lime can elevate these cones.
