Method
Preparation
- In a bowl, toss your chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Thread the seasoned chicken onto your skewers, fitting about 4-5 pieces per skewer.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (about 200°C). Spritz the basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the skewers in the fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice for the bang bang sauce.
Serving
- Once the chicken is cooked through and has a golden color, remove skewers from the air fryer.
- Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the skewers or serve it on the side. Garnish with sliced green onions.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling. These skewers reheat well in the microwave or air fryer. Feel free to add bell peppers, zucchini, or onions for more color and nutrients.
