  • 1 pound kielbasa sliced into rounds
  • 1 head cabbage chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes cubed
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional minced fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grab a cutting board and chop your cabbage and potatoes, and mince your garlic.
Layering
  1. In your slow cooker, layer the sliced kielbasa at the bottom, followed by the chopped cabbage, cubed potatoes, and onion.
  2. Sprinkle the minced garlic, paprika, and black pepper over the top.
Cooking
  1. Pour the chicken broth over everything.
  2. Cover and set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Serving
  1. Once done, stir it up to combine the flavors, and optionally sprinkle some fresh parsley on top.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!

Notes

Feel free to add other veggies like carrots or bell peppers, and for a little heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Leftovers store well in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
