- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the ground beef until browned.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Mix in the diced bell peppers and sauté for 5 minutes until they are soft yet crunchy.
- Stir in the can of diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet, tossing everything together until well-coated.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, let the spaghetti sit in the sauce off the heat before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
