Ingredients
  

Seafood and Vegetables
  • 2 lbs shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 lb crab legs (snow or Dungeness)
  • 2 lbs baby potatoes
  • 4 ears corn (cut into halves)
Seasoning and Extras
  • 1 stick unsalted butter Melted for drizzling
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2-3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust to spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 whole lemon (cut into wedges) For serving
  • to taste fresh parsley For garnish
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, fill it with water and add the baby potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes, until fork-tender.
  2. Once the potatoes are ready, add the corn and a pinch of salt. Let it boil for another 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, and Old Bay seasoning. Cook until aromatic.
  4. Add the shrimp and crab legs, and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the crab is heated through.
Serving
  1. Melt the butter in a separate pan and drizzle it over the seafood boil right before serving.
  2. Spread butcher paper or newspaper across your table and pour out the seafood boil for everyone to feast on.
  3. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Feel free to add in other favorites like sausage or clams. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently.
