  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust for your heat preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adds balancing sweetness to the dish.
  • 1 piece green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and honey.
Cooking
  1. Add the shrimp to the spice mix and toss until well-coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Plate the shrimp, drizzle any leftover sauce from the skillet over them, and garnish with chopped green onions and lime wedges.

Notes

Adjust the heat level with cayenne pepper as per your preference. This dish pairs well with rice, salad, or grilled veggies.
