Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti or fettuccine) Cook according to package instructions.
  • 8 oz steak (flank or sirloin, sliced thinly)
  • 8 oz shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 1 medium bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil For cooking.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Green onions Optional, for garnish.

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Start by cooking the noodles according to the package instructions until they're tender but not mushy. Drain and toss with a bit of oil to prevent clumping.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the steak and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Add minced garlic, sliced onion, and bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked noodles back to the skillet along with steak, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss to combine and allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve the noodles, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Don't overcook the shrimp; they can become rubbery. Feel free to customize with chicken or veggies. Adjust sauces to your taste, but don’t drown the noodles.
