Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz noodles of your favorite type (rice noodles, spaghetti, or zoodles)
  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak, sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined Buying prepped shrimp saves time!
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
Aromatics
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized piece ginger, minced or grated
Sauce Ingredients
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch To thicken the sauce
Garnish
  • Fresh green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak in a single layer. Let it sear for about 2-3 minutes, then flip and sear the other side until nicely browned. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add more oil if needed and then add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  4. Toss in the garlic, ginger, and sliced vegetables into the pan. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
  5. Add the cooked noodles, steak, and shrimp back into the pan. In a separate bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients. Pour the sauce over the noodle mixture and toss to combine, letting it simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

If you're unsure about using steak, you can substitute chicken or tofu. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or sriracha. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
