Preparation
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak in a single layer. Let it sear for about 2-3 minutes, then flip and sear the other side until nicely browned. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed and then add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- Toss in the garlic, ginger, and sliced vegetables into the pan. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
- Add the cooked noodles, steak, and shrimp back into the pan. In a separate bowl, mix together the sauce ingredients. Pour the sauce over the noodle mixture and toss to combine, letting it simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
If you're unsure about using steak, you can substitute chicken or tofu. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or sriracha. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
