Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye, sliced thinly)
  • 8 oz shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz fresh noodles (egg noodles work wonders)
  • 1 cup mixed bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated or minced)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • green onions (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your steak, devein the shrimp, and chop your veggies.
Cooking Noodles
  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Stir-Frying Protein
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Toss in your steak slices and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  2. Add the shrimp and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they’re pink and cooked through.
Cooking Veggies
  1. Add the garlic, ginger, bell peppers, and broccoli to the skillet. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
Combining All Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet along with the teriyaki sauce. Toss everything together until well combined. Add a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve your Steak & Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles hot and garnish with vibrant green onions.

Notes

Prep your ingredients the night before to save time. You can swap veggies based on what you have on hand. Adjust teriyaki sauce to suit your taste.
