Ingredients

For the dish
  • 8 oz steak (like sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz noodles (your choice: ramen, udon, or rice noodles) Aim for a little less than al dente.
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, etc.) Use any veggies you have on hand.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Optional, but adds flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • sesame seeds For garnish.
  • sliced green onions For garnish.

Method

Cooking Your Stir-Fried Noodles
  1. Start by cooking your noodles according to package instructions. Aim for a little less than al dente.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced steak first and let it sear for a couple of minutes until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Add in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, around 3-4 minutes.
  5. Toss in the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about a minute until fragrant.
  6. Add your mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until they’re bright and crisp.
  7. Return the cooked noodles back into the skillet and drizzle the soy sauce and oyster sauce over everything.
  8. Stir everything together, making sure each noodle gets a savory coating.
  9. Plate up your creation and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions for a touch of pizzazz.

Notes

Feel free to swap the steak and shrimp for chicken or tofu. Perfect for meal prep! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
