  • 2 pieces ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Creamy Garlic Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Cooking the Steak
  1. Season your steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on your desired doneness.
  4. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let rest.
Making the Creamy Garlic Shrimp
  1. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  2. Toss in the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining and Serving
  1. Slice the steak and serve it topped with the creamy garlic shrimp.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Feel free to add extra garlic for a stronger flavor. Store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for 2-3 days.
