Preparation
- Begin by washing your strawberries. Once they’re squeaky clean, slice them up.
- Reserve a few nice-looking strawberries for garnish.
Making Cheesecake Filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until blended.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently to maintain fluffiness.
Assembling the Trifle
- In a large trifle dish, start layering with graham cracker crumbs, followed by cheesecake filling and a layer of strawberries.
- Repeat the layering until the dish is full, finishing with a layer of cheesecake.
- Top with reserved strawberries for garnish.
Chilling
- Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for at least two hours.
- Serve when ready and enjoy.
Notes
For a twist, try adding a splash of lemon juice to the filling or mixing in chocolate chips. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to three days.
