  • 1 cup 1 cup Fresh strawberries, sliced Use ripe and juicy strawberries.
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • 1-2 tablespoons 1-2 tablespoons Honey Adjust according to your preference for sweetness.
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish Adds a refreshing touch.
  • Balsamic glaze (drizzled on top, optional) Highly recommended for extra flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay the sliced baguette pieces on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with honey and blend until smooth.
  4. Once toasted, let the baguette slices cool slightly, then spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice.
  5. Top each slice with sliced strawberries.
  6. If using, drizzle balsamic glaze over the crostini and sprinkle with fresh mint leaves.
Serving
  1. Arrange the Strawberry Crostini on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes

Freshness is key with ripe strawberries. You can prepare the cream cheese spread in advance and store it in the fridge. Customize with different cheeses if desired.
