Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 package of vanilla instant pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 package of crumbled graham crackers
  • ½ cup of butter, melted
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar optional for added sweetness
  • to taste mint leaves for garnish optional for decoration

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the instant pudding mix and milk. Whisk until it’s smooth and begins to thicken—about 2 minutes. Set aside to let it fully set.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the crumbled graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until everything is well mixed and crumbly.
Assembly
  1. In a trifle dish (or clear glass bowl), start with a layer of the graham cracker mix at the bottom.
  2. Follow with a layer of strawberries, then a layer of the pudding mixture, and finally a layer of whipped cream.
  3. Repeat these layers as needed, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
Finishing
  1. Place your trifle in the fridge for at least 2 hours to chill and let all those delightful flavors meld together.
  2. Before serving, garnish with a few strawberry slices and a sprinkle of the graham cracker crumble.
  3. Serve and enjoy your Strawberry Crunch Trifle!

Notes

Don't rush the chilling time. Feel free to substitute strawberries with other berries or bananas. For an adult twist, consider adding a splash of rum or berry-flavored liqueur.
