Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels a salty delight!
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cream layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping can substitute with homemade whipped cream
For the strawberry topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Method
 

Create the Crust
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown and fragrant, then let cool.
The Creamy Layer
  1. Blend the cream cheese and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
The Strawberry Glaze
  1. Combine the strawberry gelatin with 2 cups of boiling water in a bowl, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes, then add the sliced strawberries to the gelatin.
  3. Pour over the cream layer and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Slice and Serve
  1. Once set, slice into generous squares and serve.

Notes

Make it ahead of time for best results. You can substitute different fruits or add extra toppings for a fancier presentation.
