Method
Create the Crust
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown and fragrant, then let cool.
The Creamy Layer
- Blend the cream cheese and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
The Strawberry Glaze
- Combine the strawberry gelatin with 2 cups of boiling water in a bowl, stirring until dissolved.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then add the sliced strawberries to the gelatin.
- Pour over the cream layer and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Slice and Serve
- Once set, slice into generous squares and serve.
