Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 large large white mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green olives (for eyeballs)
  • Red pepper flakes (for that extra spooky touch)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms by gently wiping them with a wet paper towel. Remove the stems and set them aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Stuffing and Baking
  1. Generously fill the mushroom caps with the creamy filling.
  2. Slice the green olives in half, and place one half on top of each stuffed mushroom.
  3. Sprinkle a few red pepper flakes around the mushrooms.
  4. Place mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Serving
  1. Allow the stuffed mushrooms to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Enjoy with marinara sauce for dipping.
