  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces You can substitute flank steak or chicken.
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter Divided usage: 1 tbsp for cooking steak, the rest for the sauce.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Don’t skimp on the seasoning.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Ensure the cheese is finely grated for easy melting.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional A sprinkle adds color and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Add the seasoned steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Flip the steak bites and sear on the other side for another 2-3 minutes, until cooked to your desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. Lower the heat and add the remaining butter to the same skillet.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Combining and Serving
  1. Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  2. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  3. Serve and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

For additional flavor, crushed red pepper flakes can be added to the garlic butter. Serve this over rice or zoodles for a low-carb option.
