Ingredients

For the Steak Bites
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped
For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh herbs for garnish Fresh herbs (like basil or parsley), chopped

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by patting the steak bites dry with paper towels, then season them generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking Steak
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in batches and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
Making Garlic Butter
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic, letting it sizzle for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Combine and Finish
  1. Return the steak bites to the skillet and ensure they’re coated in the garlic butter.
  2. In a separate saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic powder, and half of the Parmesan cheese over medium heat until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add the remaining cheese, salt, and pepper.
  3. Plate the steak bites and drizzle with creamy Parmesan sauce. Garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan while searing; use toothpicks for serving to make it kid-friendly, and consider doubling the sauce ingredients if you love sauce.
