  • 1 box box of frozen Texas toast garlic bread Convenience is key!
For the toppings
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to add more for extra cheesiness.
  • 1 cup favorite pizza toppings Pepperoni, veggies, etc.
  • to taste Italian seasoning For extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the Texas toast box, usually around 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the frozen Texas toast slices on a baking sheet.
  3. Spoon a generous amount of pizza sauce onto each slice of garlic bread.
  4. Top each slice with a hearty sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Add your favorite toppings on top of the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over everything, then place the baking sheet in the oven.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a minute, then slice and serve hot.

Notes

Experiment with various toppings such as buffalo chicken or BBQ pulled pork. Store leftovers wrapped in foil or in an airtight container for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the oven for a few minutes for crispiness.
