Ingredients
  

Cheese Ball Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or dill) for garnishing (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Form the mixture into a ball (or two smaller balls) and roll in the chopped nuts until thoroughly coated.
  4. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  5. Once chilled, unwrap and transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Make it a day in advance for best results. Customize with different cheeses or add dried fruits. Don't forget an assortment of dippers!
