  • 4 pieces chicken thighs, boneless and skinless The star of our show
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced Mushrooms add great flavor
  • 4 slices crispy bacon, chopped Bacon enhances flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a luscious sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves Adds aromatic flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances aroma
  • Salt and pepper to taste To season the dish
  • Olive oil for cooking For sautéing

Method
 

Cooking Process
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon. Sauté until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove the bacon, but leave the drippings in the skillet. Add olive oil, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic. Cook until mushrooms are browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Push the mushrooms to the side and add the chicken thighs. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and add thyme leaves. Bring to a gentle simmer and let cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Sprinkle the crispy bacon over the chicken and sauce just before serving.
  6. Plate with your favorite vegetables or over a bed of rice.

Notes

Always taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. If fresh thyme isn't available, dried herbs can be used but in smaller quantities.
