Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich
  • 4 slices slices of your favorite bread, toasted Choose sturdy bread to avoid sogginess.
  • 4 slices crispy bacon Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  • 1 large tomato, sliced Use fresh tomatoes for best flavor.
  • 1 leaf leafy romaine or iceberg lettuce Use firm, fresh lettuce.
  • to taste mayonnaise Spread generously on bread.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season tomatoes to enhance flavor.

Method
 

Cooking the Bacon
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon until it’s nice and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once done, place the cooked bacon on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess grease.
Preparing the Bread
  1. While the bacon cools, toast the slices of bread to your desired crispness.
Assembling the Sandwich
  1. Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  2. On two slices of bread, add a few lettuce leaves followed by the sliced tomatoes.
  3. Sprinkle a touch of salt and pepper over the tomatoes.
  4. Place the crispy bacon strips on top.
Finishing Touch
  1. Top it off with the remaining slices of bread, mayo-side down. Give it a gentle press to secure everything together.

Notes

Use a serrated knife for cleaner slices. For a twist, add avocado or experiment with different bread types. If in a hurry, microwave bacon by placing it between two paper towels for 2-3 minutes.
