Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 round round brie cheese (about 8 ounces) High-quality brie recommended for maximum flavor.
  • 1/4 cup fig jam The star of the show!
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped Aromatic and flavorful.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional but delicious; adds a lovely finish.
  • 1 handful your favorite crackers or sliced baguette For serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the round of brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally, trim the rind for a more oozy texture.
  3. Spread the fig jam generously over the top of the brie.
  4. Sprinkle the finely chopped rosemary onto the fig layer.
  5. Optionally, drizzle a tablespoon of honey over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is gooey and warm.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before serving.
  3. Serve with your choice of crackers or slices of baguette.

Notes

Experiment with different jams such as apricot or blackberry for a fun twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge, but note that reheating may brown the cheese.
