Method
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this zesty mixture onto your fish fillets, making sure they’re fully coated.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add your fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they’re golden brown and flaky.
Making the Sauce
- While the fish is sizzling, whisk together the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime zest, lime juice, and honey in a separate bowl. Taste it to balance flavors.
Tortilla Preparation
- Warm your tortillas in another skillet or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds until soft.
Assembly
- Flake the cooked fish into pieces and pile them into your tortillas. Add a handful of shredded cabbage, drizzle with the spicy Sriracha lime sauce, and finish with a sprinkle of cilantro. Don't forget a squirt of lime juice!
Notes
If the fish starts to stick, add a little extra olive oil in the skillet. For variations, add sliced avocado or black beans. Extra sauce can be used as a dip for veggies or chips.
