Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (like tilapia or cod)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the Spicy Sriracha Lime Sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce adjust according to your spice preference
  • 1 lime (zest and juice)
  • 1 teaspoon honey for a hint of sweetness
For Assembly
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • shredded cabbage for a crunchy topping
  • chopped cilantro for garnish
  • lime wedges for extra zing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this zesty mixture onto your fish fillets, making sure they’re fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add your fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they’re golden brown and flaky.
Making the Sauce
  1. While the fish is sizzling, whisk together the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime zest, lime juice, and honey in a separate bowl. Taste it to balance flavors.
Tortilla Preparation
  1. Warm your tortillas in another skillet or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds until soft.
Assembly
  1. Flake the cooked fish into pieces and pile them into your tortillas. Add a handful of shredded cabbage, drizzle with the spicy Sriracha lime sauce, and finish with a sprinkle of cilantro. Don't forget a squirt of lime juice!

Notes

If the fish starts to stick, add a little extra olive oil in the skillet. For variations, add sliced avocado or black beans. Extra sauce can be used as a dip for veggies or chips.
