Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent prawns sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large prawns, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the prawns: Toss in the peeled and deveined prawns. Season them generously with salt and pepper and cook for around 3-4 minutes on each side until pink.
- Stir well to coat the prawns in the garlic butter until slightly golden.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
Don’t overcook the prawns to avoid a rubbery texture. Add a splash of white wine for extra flavor.
