Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Breading
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
Bang Bang Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha Adjust for heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil For coating

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Mix flour with garlic powder, salt, and pepper in one bowl.
  3. Whisk the eggs in a second bowl.
  4. Spread out panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
Breading and Cooking
  1. Dip each shrimp first into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat it with panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Arrange breaded shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
Sauce Preparation
  1. While the shrimp are frying, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl.
Serving
  1. Once shrimp are cooked, toss them in the sauce or serve on the side for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the basket for the best crisp. You can adjust the spice level of the sriracha. Frozen shrimp can be used but must be thawed.
