Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until slightly golden at the edges and soft in the center.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a softer texture, chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking. Customize with chocolate chips or nuts as desired.
