- Start by boiling a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Notes
Don’t overcook the pasta; al dente is your best friend here. You can swap heavy cream for a lighter version or add vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes.
