  • 1 pound fresh scallops Choose dry-packed for best results.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Use more if you love garlic!
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish Adds a fancy touch!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Add the scallops to the bowl and gently toss them in the garlic butter mixture.
  2. Place the scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for about 6-8 minutes until they are opaque and slightly golden.
  3. Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serving
  1. Serve your scallops with a side of your favorite veggies or over a bed of pasta.

Notes

Keep cooked scallops warm in a low oven if cooking for a crowd. Don’t overcook as they can become rubbery. Feel free to add herbs or spices to enhance flavor.
