Preparation
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once it's sizzling, add the seasoned chicken breasts.
- Sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden.
- Lower the heat and add the remaining butter. Once melted, add in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the pan, spoon garlic butter over the top, and let it bask for another minute or two.
Serving
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the pan when searing. You can add vegetables such as asparagus or broccoli during cooking for a complete meal. Marinating the chicken in seasoning the night before can save time.
