  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes For those who enjoy a little heat.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Adds color and freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter slowly.
  2. Once the butter is bubbly and golden, toss in the minced garlic and stir for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, stirring to combine and letting the flavors mingle for another minute.
  4. Just before removing from heat, add the fresh parsley for enhanced taste and visual appeal.
  5. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over freshly baked pizza or use as a dipping sauce for crusts.

Notes

For a quick substitute, use garlic powder in place of fresh garlic—use about 1 teaspoon. Leftover sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week and reheated gently. This sauce can also be poured over grilled veggies or popcorn for a tasty treat.
