Cooking Shrimp
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once it’s bubbling, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
Adding Flavor
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes if desired. Stir and cook for an additional minute.
Combine and Serve
- Squeeze the lemon juice into the skillet and add salt and pepper. Stir well to coat the shrimp in sauce.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve over pasta or rice.
Notes
This recipe can also be made with chicken or scallops; adjust cooking times as necessary. If the sauce looks lumpy after adding lemon juice, it’s normal. Add veggies for extra nutrition.
