  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Opt for large shrimp for best results.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter For cooking the shrimp.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Can add more if you love garlic!
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adjust to taste for more cheesiness.
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust according to spice preference.
  • to taste Salt and freshly ground black pepper Season as desired.
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • as needed Lemon wedges Serves for a zesty kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
  1. Cook until the shrimp turn pink—about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  2. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in half of the Parmesan cheese.
  3. Transfer everything to a baking dish and top with the remaining Parmesan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Once out of the oven, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can be reheated in the oven. For a quick meal, you can use precooked shrimp or make it entirely in a skillet.
