Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture
  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened Use 8-ounce packages.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs Use parsley and dill.
  • 1/4 cup ground nuts Use pecans or walnuts.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Serving Accompaniments
  • assorted crackers For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and crumbled feta until creamy.
  2. Add in the green onions, herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Divide the cheese mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a circle to create the wreath shape.
  4. Roll the edges of each cheese circle in the ground nuts until well-coated.
Decoration
  1. Place the cheese ball wreaths on a serving platter, intertwining them.
  2. Use assorted veggies to create decorations on the wreath.
Chilling and Serving
  1. Cover the wreath with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
  2. Serve with an array of crackers and veggies.

Notes

Make ahead and store tightly wrapped in the fridge for freshness. Dried herbs can be substituted for fresh herbs; use about one-third the amount. Add spices or nuts as desired.
