Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cooking
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the scallops in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side without moving them.
  3. Once seared and golden brown, reduce heat to medium and add remaining butter, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  4. Stir gently for about 1 minute to mix flavors.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon zest. Serve immediately.
