Ingredients
  

Seafood and Vegetables
  • 1 pound large shrimp, deveined (shells on)
  • 1 pound crab legs (or your favorite seafood) Substitutes can be made for different seafood.
  • 1 pound mussels or clams, cleaned
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved (or quartered if they're larger)
  • 3 ears of corn, cut into thirds
Seasoning and Other Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning Add more if you prefer extra spice.
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 unit lemon, halved Used for flavor.
  • 3-4 tablespoons butter For flavor richness.
  • to taste unit salt Season to your liking.
  • to garnish unit fresh parsley, chopped For added flavor and aesthetics.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash all seafood thoroughly and prep your vegetables by cutting corn and halving potatoes.
Boiling
  1. In a large pot, fill with water to cover ingredients and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Season the boiling water generously with salt and add the potatoes. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes until tender.
  3. Add garlic, Old Bay seasoning, lemon halves, and corn to the pot. Boil for 5 more minutes.
  4. Finally, add shrimp and crab legs, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until everything is cooked and shells are bright.
Final Touches
  1. Once drained, return everything to the pot, add butter, and stir gently to combine.
  2. Serve everything on a large platter or directly on a dining table covered with butcher paper, garnishing with parsley.

Notes

Don't overcook the seafood as it can become rubbery. Feel free to experiment with different spices or add hot sauce for extra heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1-2 days, reheating gently in the microwave.
