Preparation
- Wash all seafood thoroughly and prep your vegetables by cutting corn and halving potatoes.
Boiling
- In a large pot, fill with water to cover ingredients and bring to a rolling boil.
- Season the boiling water generously with salt and add the potatoes. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes until tender.
- Add garlic, Old Bay seasoning, lemon halves, and corn to the pot. Boil for 5 more minutes.
- Finally, add shrimp and crab legs, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes until everything is cooked and shells are bright.
Final Touches
- Once drained, return everything to the pot, add butter, and stir gently to combine.
- Serve everything on a large platter or directly on a dining table covered with butcher paper, garnishing with parsley.
Notes
Don't overcook the seafood as it can become rubbery. Feel free to experiment with different spices or add hot sauce for extra heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1-2 days, reheating gently in the microwave.
