Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, sliced Choose firm bananas for the best texture.
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or cool whip for a lighter option) Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • to taste optional Graham cracker crumbs For added crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the milk and instant vanilla pudding mix. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it thickens, stirring occasionally.
  2. Fold in the whipped cream and vanilla extract until they are beautifully blended.
Layering
  1. In a dish or individual serving cups, start layering with graham cracker crumbs as the base.
  2. Add a layer of sliced bananas followed by a layer of the pudding mix.
  3. Next, add a generous layer of strawberries. Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld.
  2. Before serving, add a dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with additional graham cracker crumbs.

Notes

Try adding chocolate chips between layers for a chocolate-strawberry-banana combo. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
